Field Trip... Confreda Farm.

We went on our first official "Homeschooling Field Trip" this week with the Rhode Island Guild of Home Teachers (R.I.G.H.T.) We met so many other wonderful homeschooling families! The kids had the best time making new friends and taking in all the sites, scents, sounds, feels, and tastes of the farm. We visited Confreda Greenhouses and Farms in Hope, RI. What a fantastic program they have put together for educating young people about agriculture. It's fun and informative. The kids all had a great time.

All my favorites!!!

And, what could be a better way to end our field trip day?
A meal from the field to the table in one day!
Rebekah, our 8 year old, chopped all the fresh veggies we bought at
Confreda Farms. She and daddy made an amazing dinner with the freshest ingredients.
It was BEYOND delicious!!!

Our day from start to finish was a fun-filled, learning experience that satisfied every sense. :)
