Field Trip to the New England Aquarium...

Uber Fantastical reason #12 for homeschooling???
Meeting up with one of my best friends in the whole world and her homeschooling family for a "T.A.R.D.I.S. Tuesday" field trip to the New England Aquarium!!!

They drove down from Maine to meet us. The kids enjoyed hands on educational experiences throughout the entire day. We went to the 3-D IMAX movie about Great White Sharks. We had dinner in the heart of historical Boston at Faneuil Hall.  And we enjoyed watching our children bond and share their mutual passions for Dr. Who, Lord Of The Rings, Super Heroes, and Science and Nature, of course. Best day ever? Close to it. :)

A class on Turtles:

Learning about the Star Fish and Crabs.
Getting to observe them up close and feel them.

Did someone say, "Sharks"? Oh, boy.... The kids could have stayed here for hours!

They got to pet sharks and manta rays!

More "up close and personal" with the amazing creatures of the sea!

Loving those star fish!

Second generation friends for life :)

Me and My amazing friend, Andra.
Her husband took this photo of us in front of Faneuil Hall.
It all went by way too fast. We need to plan another joint aventure soon.
