Harvest Moon...

We took the telescope and the cameras out to see the "Harvest Moon". Star gazing has been a favorite pastime of hubby and a couple of the kids for years. It's fun to incorporate that into our lessons and adventures now. 

We wrote some "Harvest Moon" poetry too. My favorites were hubby's:

"Oh Harvest Moon up in the sky
It shines so bright in my left eye
The migraine comes, I think, "Oh my"
This evening's fun must say "good-bye"."

LOL....

Then there was our 3 year old's poetic attempt:

"How I wonder what you are.
Now, can you pour some ice tea in this?"


ahhh.... Never a dull moment with these goobers!!!
