We're Official!

We received our letter of approval from the local school district today.  Ours is one of the districts that requires the most information in a state that has among the strictest homeschooling guidelines. To say this is ironic would be an understatement. We also happen to be below state and national standards, and the dropout rate is embarrassing. As I have jumped through all the hoops to send in the required information, it has struck me that if they put this much accountability on teachers and administrators, perhaps fewer people would take their kids out of the system.

 

But anyhoo.... it is done. And we are official. Hubby asked, "Does this mean we're not rebels anymore?"

I think we've still got that covered ;)
